hm, sounds like maybe some of the trouble stems from the fact that the 3 LV bags you mentioned are probably all in mono, maybe like other ppl have suggested, try another line, like the vernis? or something more luxurious (and of course costly, sadly) like mahina? LV does so much more than just treated canvas.i second all the suggestions of the usual suspects like prada, gucci, chanel...but a few qualifications. with prada, i really agree with a lot of purse bloggers that they only really do their classic style bags well. whenever they veer into trendier styles, it just gets weird. so this might not be the best strategy as you are looking for interest and zest to add to your collection. but if you do not have one classic prada bag, it would be a good investment. with gucci, i am not personally a fan, but their look is certainly different from LV, so it may be the ticket if you don't want to veer into too high of a price point. but keep in mind that they do not have the re-sell value of LV bags. but this is not a problem if you like to keep your bags no matter what. higher price point brings me to the last major option, chanel. yikes, like another commenter, i just bought one, too, and it will certainly be my one and only for a while. the obviously nice thing with veering into chanel is the line is soo classic and perfect for any occassion. and re-sell is just as good if not better than LV with the price hikes. but yea...the prices are atrocious, unless you're looking at seasonal or vintage.may i suggest something a little different, something off the beaten path, but not so new or weird that it's a "dangerous" decision? have you ever looked at anya hindmarch? she makes really high quality, reasonabley priced (for the type of material and craftsmanship) bags. they are retro without being gimmicky, classic without being boring. if you're looking for something really out there, she may not be the one, but if you're looking for bags that are a little bit different from what everyone else is toting yet still versatile and timeless, she is a great option. louis vuitton mm monogram
